SPB Contech company, under the contract with the National Museum in Gdańsk, has completed construction and conservation works on the roof of the Sierakowski Palace.
Within the scope of the agreement with the National Museum in Gdańsk, SPB Contech carried out construction and conservation works on the roof of the Sierakowski Palace, located in the area of the manor and park complex of the Museum of Noble Tradition in Waplewo Wielkie. The building is listed in the register of immovable monuments of the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
The detailed scope of work included:
- Repair and reinforcement of the existing roof structure.
- Renovation of the roof covering of the part of the roof covered with tiles.
- Renovation of the roof covering of roof slopes covered with roofing felt.
- Masonry and conservation works within the fire walls and cornices.
- Renovation of the gutter and downspout system, along with the installation of a systemic de-icing heating system for gutters and downspouts.
- Conservation of the lightning protection installation.
- Development and submission of as-built documentation containing information about the course and method of carrying out the works.
