SPB Contech, acting as a Contractor, carried out tasks consisting in the performance of repair construction works and anti-corrosion protection on the Kosakowo Cavern Underground Gas Storage.
The company commissioning the works was Gas Storage Poland, and within the framework of the signed agreement, SPB Contech performed the following tasks:
- preparation of documentation with regard to the selection of work technology, materials and equipment,
- cleaning and then repairing the anti-corrosion coating on the technological lines of the Gas Distribution Station and the Gas Metering Station,
- performing construction repairs at the Kosakowo Cavern Underground Storage Facility,
- providing author's supervision over the implementation of the task.
As part of the contract, we also produced the necessary as-built documentation, together with quality certificates for the anti-corrosion work including, inter alia, measurements of the thickness of paint coats confirming the correctness of the work carried out to repair the anti-corrosion coating.
The work was carried out within the agreed timeframe, maintaining the highest standard of quality and safety expected by the Investor.
