SPB Contech carried out the modernisation of the brine tank at the Kosakowo Cavern Underground Gas Storage Facility.
The company commissioning the work was Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo and the detailed scope of the task included:
- developing of a construction design for the demolition of the Kosakowo Underground Gas Storage (KPMG) brine tank together with obtaining formal and legal approvals from the Higher Mining Authority,
- carrying out the brine tank demolition works, after preparing and securing the site,
- Performing author's supervision over the task,
- disposing of the demolition elements, together with putting the site in order and handing over the as-built documentation to the Contracting Authority.
All work was carried out on time and to the highest safety standards expected by the Investor.
